Reel editing prices: the real cost per video
Reels have become the currency of attention. But between the €15 marketplace edit and the €300-per-video agency, how do you find your footing? Here are the real prices, and what they cover.
The market ranges
A junior freelancer charges €15 to €50 per reel, with variable quality and deadlines. An agency charges €150 to €400 apiece, brief and art direction included. In between, production studios offer packs: the best value as soon as you publish regularly.
Recordia's packs
Our reel editing works in degressive packs: 5 reels for €350 excl. VAT (€70 each), 10 reels for €600 excl. VAT (€60 each), and €800 excl. VAT for the Level 2 pack of 10 with motion graphics and media inserts. Every reel includes multicam editing, dynamic subtitles styled to your brand, zooms and music syncing, at 30 seconds to 1 minute 30.
Why the shoot changes everything
An edited reel is only worth the footage underneath. Filmed in a multi-camera studio with real lighting, the same edit produces a radically different result. A one-hour session at Recordia (€90 excl. VAT) supplies material for 10 to 15 reels: all in, count €690 excl. VAT for a month of publishing, shoot included.
