Recording a podcast with 3 or 4: the guide

With two people, a podcast manages itself. With four, every technical detail multiplies: mics, framings, eye lines, balance of speech. Here is what changes, and how the studio absorbs it for you.

The tech: one mic and one camera each

The golden rule of multi-guest recording: never share a mic. At Recordia, every speaker gets their own Shure MV7 and dedicated camera, up to 4 people at no extra cost. The control room balances levels live: no voice crushing the others, no impossible rescue in the edit.

Seating: the table makes the show

The round table of the Cigar Lounge and the Galaxy stage are designed so everyone sees everyone: exchanges start naturally, and the crossed cameras catch reactions, not just whoever is talking. Hosting: your real job

With four people and no firm host, the episode scatters. Prepare a block-by-block rundown, give each guest a territory of expertise, and dare to hand out the floor by name: "Marie, you live this daily...". In the edit, multicam does the rest: the camera cuts to whoever speaks, attention never drops.
