What to wear for a video shoot?

The camera has wardrobe preferences, and it does not forgive. Five simple rules are enough to look sharp, credible and comfortable on every take.

What the camera loves, and what it hates:

• Favor solid, mid-to-dark colors: they hold on every backdrop
• Avoid fine patterns (thin stripes, houndstooth): they shimmer on screen
• Avoid pure white and deep black in large areas: they fight the exposure
• Skip shiny, crease-prone fabrics: satin shows every fold under studio light
• Limit noisy jewelry: the camera forgives, the microphone never

Match the outfit to the set

Each stage has its palette: cream and terracotta at Cosy Cream, midnight blue and stone at Galaxy, British green and leather at Cigar Lounge, wood and grey at Board Room. Simple rule: contrast with the background without clashing. In doubt, bring two options, the team decides in 30 seconds on camera.

The detail that changes everything for short formats

If your session feeds several reels or several episodes, plan one outfit change per content block: your posts will look shot weeks apart. It is the highest-yield trick of batch filming.
